Studio 309 , "The time is now". (day 1)

Wow. Unbelievable night. Words can not explain how much fun i had & how happy i was to be there. It was one of those "Had to be there" moments. But- more than that. So, i woke up; knowing it was show time made me SO nervous. Desiree came over & did my hair & makeup [: Auntie Tess [Shaidas mom] brought us to the theater in Vacaville. Michael greeted us @ the door [: We chilllled in our dressing room. We were the first "Calabria" members there. HAHA! So, blahblah. People arrived. We then stretched on stage with Connie. Michael & Jaqui both gave quick speeches. Time ticked, ticked & ticked. IT WAS FINALLY 8 ! SHOW TIME BABY ! All of the acts went through & i got to watch Michael & his crew's performance from backstage [THE B0Y$] haa ! Then, we just chillled in the dressing room with our group. haha, the little kiddies are cute & ohsoloud! Well, 5 minutes till our performance. We lined up behind & the curtains, & there was MICHAEL. Oh my . He was like PUMP IT UP! HAVE FUN ! GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT ! I was shakin' & was like, UH HUH . omg. Lights went out. It was pitch black, then your hear the saxophones to the Calabria song. Then, "WHOOOP WHOOP!" We ran on staqe, & i saw the crowd. I WASN'T NERVOUS! & Then, the magic began & i stayyyed smiling. It was just .... AHHHHHHH ! At the end of our performance, the BOMB exploded & i had a shocked face & hit the ground . OH YEAAAH ! We ran backstage & our team gave eachother high fives. we ran in the dressing room & yelled YESSSSSSSSSS ! Michael said we did great , OH MAN <3 ahhha ! WE DID IT ! You don't know how HAPPY i was & so excitedd ! More acts came through. It was almost the finale - tick tock tick tock. time ticks. SHOWTIME ! THE FINALE ! We waited till the last routine was finished. We lined up behind the curtain & BAM! the smoke appeared & the music started "WHOO0O!" 1,2,3,4,5,6 - GOOO ! Me, james, & Alexis strutted down the runway & into the crowd. HAVING A BURST OF ENERGY ! non stop dancing ! OMG . we watched the runway & the finale. ahhhhh ! JAQUI & MICHAEL + CONNIE WERE DANCING AT THE END . omgggg ! After the runway, all the dancers headed back on the staqe & just danceddd ! haha , MICHAEL was with uss [: as the curtains went down, we said goodbyeeeee [: & highfiveddd ! YESS ! we did it ! We ran in the dressing room & got our stufff. SO0 PUMPED ABOUT TOMMROOW ! we ran in the aisle & found auntie tessie, she was AMAZED x402734 ! I saw hecka people, Alberto, Angelica, John and Candice! They all greeted me & said GOOD JOBB! ahhh [[: Auntie tess called up My mom & said they had to gooo ! i started crying because i knew my sister & mom were not coming tommorow. LONG STORY. Okay, it'll be easier if i tell you. So, my dad lost hours at work. they cutted hours for some reason. Now, they are runing low on money. & tickets are 21. So, it's expensive for my sister + mom to go. Only my dad can go because my sister & mom saw us in rehearsal [which is nothing compared to the show] So, yeah. get it? I started crying because, they don't know how happy i was. I lived my dream right there on that stage. I wouldn't trade it for anything. To be apart of this, was .. everything. Seriously, it was my dream. I really want my mom & sister to be there. to see what i love to do. & how hard i worked for this. It's not just a bunch of people dancing. It's more than that. It's one big family, coming together for a show. It's not just dancing. It's more than that. You see all of the hard work we put for this. & for everyone to see that was everything to me. And what hit me the most, is for Michael, Jaqui, my friends, + the professional dancers to say "Goodjobb!" all the way through, made me so proud. I want my mom & sister to be there. To see how happy i am to be on stage, it's like .. that's where i belong. I was meant to dance. It felt like "Americas best dance crew" but with no judging. It was about having funnn . that's what it's all about. JGD is one of the most successful dance groups in northern california. & to be apart of that is amazing. IT'S SO HARD TO EXPLAIN BUT The tears really showed how much i love doing this. It's hard to explain, but. this night was unforgetable. & i can't wait to do it all over again. This is my dream.
